Did you Know...?

  • Did you know that those who appear to be very strong in heart, are real weak and most susceptible?
  • Did you know that those who spend their time protecting others are the ones that really need someone to protect them?
  • Did you know that the three most difficult things to say are:
    • I love you.
    • I’m sorry.
    • Help me.
  • Did you know that those who dress in red are more confident in themselves?
  • Did you know that those who dress in yellow are those that enjoy their beauty?
  • Did you know that those who dress in black, are those who want to be unnoticed and need your help and understanding?
  • Did you know that when you help someone, the help is returned in two folds?
  • Did you know that it's easier to say what you feel in writing than saying it to someone in the face? But did you know that it has more value when you say it to their face?
  • Did you know that if you ask for something in faith, your wishes are granted?
  • Did you know that you can make your dreams come true, like falling in love, becoming rich, staying healthy, if you ask for it by faith, and if you really knew, you'd be surprised by what you could do.

Someday someone might come into your life and love you the way you've alwayswanted
If your someday is tomorrow, hope.
If your someday is today, cherish.

Laws of Projects and Teams

Laws of Projects and Teams - Awesome

Law 1 : The good looking babes always join the other projects.

Law 2 a: Your project is always an ALL - MALE team.
COROLLARY
Law 2 b: The female joining your project is always very bad looking.

Law 3 : Do not think that you are the most frustrated person in the project; there is always some one more frustrated than you.

Law 4 : A Good looking girl joins that project which already has the maximum number of good looking girls.

Law 5 : Do not make the mistake of calling any girl in your project bad looking; because if and when the new girls joins, you start repenting your previous statement, start calling the previous one good looking, your tension increases and you lose your sleep and hair.

Law 6 : Bad looking girls do not come singly; they come in pairs.
Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections, but instantly
set about remedying them-- every day begin the task anew.

Impractical, Immoral

Impractical, Immoral
Martin Luther King, Jr.

Violence as a way of achieving justice is both impractical and immoral.
It is impractical because it is a descending spiral ending in destruction
for all. The old law of an eye for an eye leaves everybody blind. It is
immoral because it seeks to humiliate the opponent rather than win
his understanding; it seeks to annihilate rather than to convert.
Violence is immoral because it thrives on hatred rather than love.
It destroys community and makes brotherhood impossible. It leaves
society in monologue rather than dialogue. Violence ends by defeating
itself. It creates bitterness in the survivors and brutality in the
destroyers.

An army careerist mulls over the "global war on terror."

If I answer your prayer at once, it is because I am testing your faith.
Ifdid not answer your prayer at once, it is because I am testing your patience.
If I did not answer your prayer at all it is because I have a better plan for you.

Watch planet mars

TRUE:
Mars will have another
close encounter with Earth in in 2005, but that occurrence will take place in October (not August), and the red planet will appear about 20% smaller than it did during similar circumstances in 2003.

FALSE:
Planet Mars will be brightest in the night sky starting August. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will culminate on August 27 when Mars comes to within 35 million miles of earth. Be sure to watch the sky on August 27 12:30 AM. It will look like the Earth has two moons. The next time Mars will be this close is in 2287. Share this with your loved ones and friends as NO ONE ALIVE TODAY will ever see it again...

Software sadness

SOMEONE COMMENTED that most of the cases psychiatrists handle nowadays are those of software professionals. I have no difficulty in agreeing with that comment. The expressions written on their faces are generally sad, anxious, thoughtful and sleepy. One look at them gives us the impression that they are overworked and overexploited.

Man is a social being and needs a certain amount of time for the family and friends. But we find the software professionals sandwiched between the never-ending deadlines and family needs. Getting two days leave for a family function is almost impossible. Children get detached from the parents and get their guidance from other sources, which may not be good. With a plastic card or cell phone around their necks, software professionals look like robots and behave like bonded labourers. Everyday their families wait for them until late night.

They are generally well compensated. So are the deep-sea divers. They have no time or inclination to check their accounts. Hence they very easily fall into the trap of debts. To pay these debts they work harder and ruin their health.

Proper nutrition is a totally neglected affair. The rat race, the job related stress and strain further aggravate the already failing health. Another ailment which affects the software professionals is the problem with their spines and the nagging back pain. This is mainly due to a lack of exercise and constant sitting at one place. As a result of all these by the age of 35 they are squeezed out of all their energy. Ulcer, blood pressure, and depression take control of their lives.

One attraction for software professionals is a chance to go abroad on short assignments. On their return they will be in a position to clear some of their debts. I understand in general foreigners work during the normal working hours and do not attend office on Saturdays and Sundays. People from India not only work for 12 hours a day but also work on Saturdays and Sundays. There is no life. There is only work and more work. This is an endless process.

Live to relax!

But don't believe everything I tell you, until you try it for yourself, if you know someone that is in need of something that I mentioned, and you know that you can help, you'll see that it will be returned in two-fold.

do u stress urself?

i wanted to keep smiling always. is it wrong? because always the stress is somehow applied on me. it comes in the means like work pressure, job delivery pressure, traffic irritation, noise pollution, air pollution, financial pressure, page can not be found error, the called network is busy, budget problem, bribes, .... oh it is a verg huge list. I accept my failure that i cant give all problems here( coz, i will not b having anything in my blog except the list. isn't it? ).

I feel bit relaxed if i keep doing something with human beings instead of machine, i forget all stress. example i feel relaxed when i do speak to my dear friend(yep obviously my-dear), phone to parents, chat with my dear collegemates(wow really wonderful relation it is), discuss with my colleagues (not about job but about opposite gender colleagues), get help from friends, ordering friends to do something for us, smile at subordinate, fighting with roommates/brother/sister ... ophfo again big list.

so when i feel stressed i dont go for coffee, i do - take phone, ping a known, speak something, throw stress, hang receiver, get back to job (somehow helping mobile/telephone operators to earn bit more).

so i suggest you also to keep in touch with human than machine to getaway from stress(still do i need to maintain this blog?).

Try to smile at person than forwarding a junk mail to that.

so start ringing me(hope i will get somany calls hereafter, he he he, me very greedy know???)...

great people

my friend uly has world class knowledge. he looks into the social problems too and gives his views about those issues. but i donno what will the result of his efforts he shows for them. u will come to know his interests if u see his blogs at http://www.ulyssesdavid.com/ .i feel that it s not his personal blog. his elder sister too does like social practice in chennai in her small age. what great abt them.

today i read a column, which was written by infosys chairman Mr.Narayanamurthy about JRD Ratan Tata. he was praising all about Tata in his article. one thing to be noted is JRD bothered about the increasing population which is blocks growth india longback, and the same was not realised by any indian politician. instead of that everyone is interested in increasing their personal values and wealths.

we hope for best.
